Linen Artist Canvas Unlike traditional stretched canvas, Linen canvas is primed with clear gesso, allowing the unique texture and color of the linen canvas to show through. Made of archival quality, medium-weight 100% linen, it is stretched around beveled, kiln-dried, paulownia wood stretcher bars. It features a 1-1/2" thick, staple-free edge that allows for painting on all sides and can be hung with or without a frame. Ready to use with acrylics. For oils and other media, an appropriate ground should be applied.
