This set provides a great introduction to the properties of Atelier Interactive Artists' Acrylics. This paint loses moisture gradually allowing an artist to control the drying process. The smooth, buttery paint dries satin and can be adjusted and blended longer than conventional acrylics. Wet-in-wet techniques can be achieved by adding more moisture with a fine mist spray. Work can also be done wet-over-dry by simply not adding any more moisture. The curing time is 10 to 12 days depending on the thickness of application and artist's style. The set includes 20ml tubes of crimson, transparent perinone orange, arylamide yellow light, arylamide yellow deep, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, French ultramarine blue, dioxazine purple, pthalo green, permanent green light, carbon black and titanium white. It also includes Slow Medium, Fast Medium/Fixer and Unlocking Formula in 2 oz. bottles, a 2 oz. fine mist water sprayer, color chart, a grounds and mediums guide and an interactive instructional CD-ROM.
