wOil Water Mixable Oil Color Sets with Linseed Oil These of non-toxic, water mixable oil colors have a smooth, buttery consistency and are formulated using many single archival pigments for brilliance of color and clean color mixing. Although they can be cleaned with soap and water, there is no water in the wOil formulation. The linseed oil and safflower oil vehicles have been modified to allow the color to mix with water, creating a stable emulsion, while retaining the working characteristics of traditional oil color. They can be blended with traditional oil color and mediums as well as acrylic based color. Color pigments are archival permanent; rated Lightfastness I or II. Drying time is between 3 to 5 days depending on the thickness of paint applied. The 6-color set includes 37ml tubes of cadmium yellow medium hue, red permanent, French ultramarine blue, sap green, ivory black (warm) and white permanent and a 118ml bottle of modified linseed oil. The 12-color set includes 37ml tubes of cadmium yellow light hue, cadmium orange hue, cadmium red medium hue, alizarin crimson permanent, dioxazine purple, cerulean blue hue, French ultramarine blue, sap green, yellow ochre, burnt umber, mars black (cool) and white permanent and a 118ml bottle of modified linseed oil.
